Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Attack

Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a substance thought to be pepper spray led to people being hurt at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and charges for administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after getting out of a car park lift, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

This event – described by police as was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – led to train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
