Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to perform during the opening 45 before forced to intervene from Arbër Hoxha’s bent shot. His sliding intervention on Qazim Laci showed his game intelligence. 6/10

Jarell Quansah Challenged against the opposition's primary attacker through their forward. Started more centrally initially but moved out wide after Saka came on. 7

The defender Moved into midfield on the ball, a familiar role previously. At times seemed hesitant on the ball and the tactic abandoned at half-time. 6/10

Dan Burn A nuisance at set pieces, as always, could serve as a replacement for his teammate in defense as opposed to paired with him. One wayward distribution after the break nearly resulted in an opener from the visitors. 6/10

The young full-back One more composed display by the youngster following his initial appearance versus another side. Saka did not capitalize on full advantage of a gorgeous backheel behind the opposing backline. The role is firmly his already. 7/10

Adam Wharton His first start for his country. Somewhat careless on the ball but his whipped corners caused problems. A handy tempo-setter available to the manager to have versus defensive opponents. Shown a yellow for a rash challenge. Six

Declan Rice Crosses from dead balls and set-plays created chances. Enjoyed room to move on the left yet found himself offside as the pass came in front of goal. Granted a well-earned rest on the hour mark. Six

Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high position on the right while also contributed with the hard yards. Displayed moments of class and dragged a shot wide. Replaced towards the end for Rogers, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7

Jarrod Bowen Had England’s top opening of the first half, his strike excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah hanging back, he had to stretch the play on the right but his crosses from the touchline were hit and miss. Replaced late in the match. Six

The captain The match-winner netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes in an England shirt. The opener a typical poacher’s finish and the second an excellent finish with his head having drifted away away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him up top. 8

The attacker Struggled to get into the game on the left flank. Had a good opening following a pass by the midfielder yet Strakosha denied him. His replacement had a greater influence in his place. 5/10
